Key Duties

Reporting to the commissioning manager, the successful candidate will be required to:

• Commission (pre, cold & hot) process and materials handling.
• Interpret technical documentation and design data.
• Liaise with discipline Engineers and the drawing office.
• Produce commissioning reports and handover documentation.

Skills, Experience and Education

• Professionally the successful candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• A good knowledge of engineering principles and techniques.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
• Ability to work effectively with others and to be flexible in work assignments, and assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential functions
• Ability to work independently
• Good communications skills and a good team player
• Hard working and able to work under tight deadlines
• Accuracy
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office and various Mechanical Design Programs)
• Previous commissioning experience
