OVERVIEW

The San Martin Agglomeration Drum Plant was unique in that the Drums were built on a common platform as well as for high possibility of Seizmic conditions.

The drums were identical 3.6m X 10m drums. The drums were variable speed and inclination by means of a hydraulic jack system, with fixed locating pins. Seizmic requirements dictated a larger than standard structure, with specialized thrust wheels and retaing devices to accommodate the necessary seismic design conditions.

The scope also included controlled Cyanide addition and Senet’s “Bubble Liners” required for the sticky / clayey ore
