OVERVIEW

The Zaldivar Mobile Tripper was designed and supplied in a 4 month period for Rahco International as a means to feed the Heap Leach Mobile Stacking System.

The structure weighted in at 185 tons excluding mechanicals and crawlers and was constructed from hollow tube sections in order to reduce weight and increase rigidity.

The Mobile Tripper is a self- steering, crawler driven and automatically follows the stacking bridge. Positioning of the tripper is by means of sophisticated electronics, which controls the alignment with the 3.2km overland conveyor and stacking system.

SENET was also responsible for a design audit of the existing overland conveyor to ensure the existing systems could accommodate the new tripper.
