Two 30KTPA Electro-winning Tank Houses
Two 30KTPA Tank Houses Producing Grade 'A' Copper Cathode
The EW3 tank house is part of the Kamoto Copper Company (KCC) Phase 5 project and is designed around two 30KTPA tank houses producing Grade ‘A’ copper cathode.
SENET was awarded the EPCM contract for the design of the two tank houses with allowance for a potential expansion of a third tank house to take the EW3 tank house complex to 100KTPA. Preparation and adjudication of procurement packages which were then issued to KCC for placement of the various orders.
The process route was defined by experienced SENET process engineers in conjunction with MMS, a specialist Australian consultancy with many years of Electro-winning experience.
The plant design and layout was developed by SENET engineers and designers, and comprised the Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation aspects of the project.
