OVERVIEW

In 2007 SENET were awarded the contract to supply 2 Heap Leach Grasshopper type Stacking Systems to URAMIN INC. for their Trekkopje Uranium Project in Namibia.

Each Stacking System consists of:-

  • 17 - 1350mm wide x 38 metre long Grasshopper Conveyors
  • 1 - 1350mm wide x 29 metre long Transverse Conveyor
  • 1 - 1350mm wide x 42 metre long Stacker Feed Crawler Powered Indexing Conveyor
  • 1 - 1350mm wide x 34 metre long Self Levelling Slewing Stacker Conveyor with a 5 metre extending Stinger Conveyor

Each Stacking System is rated at 3750tph of crushed ore, giving a total yearly throughput of 40 million tonnes.

SENET also supplied to their Midi trial heap leach project was a 2,7m diameter x 9m long Agglomeration Drum processing 500tph of ore
