OVERVIEW

SENET is responsible for the design, procurement, fabrication and commissioning of fully enclosed conveyors for the handling of either 600tph of Petroleum Coke or 900tph of Alumina. The three conveyors total 5334m long and include three transfer towers and a fully automated sampling building.

1640m of the conveyor runs out to sea supported at 40m intervals while a 220m curved section on the last conveyor eliminates the need for an additional transfer point.

The first conveyor interfaces with a travelling ship unloader and includes a roof sealing belt to maintain an enclosed structure. All chutes have been flow modelled to optimise the design for the transfer of the different material types.

In addition to the electrical and mechanical supply, a total of 5000 Tons of structural steel is under fabrication for this project.
