OVERVIEW

The Ayanfuri Gold Heap Leach plant was completed in a 9 month period from start of design to commissioning.

The Plant consisted of 100t R.O.M tip followed by a primary MMD sizer, which is ideal for this lateritic clay type of material.

After this came cement addition and agglomeration through to overland conveying and stacking on the heap leach pads.

The plant was designed in co-operation with the client with close regard to monetary restraints, extreme operating conditions in West Africa plus the arduous conditions on the heap leach pads when moving the equipment around.

The cement system, agglomeration drum and stacking system are SENET’s own standard, proprietary equipment. Infrastructure supplied was the workshop store, reagent store and water treatment plant.
