DRA Global is deeply saddened to advise that an incident occurred at approximately 4pm (AST) on 15 July 2023 at the Moyeath Project in Saudi Arabia, which tragically resulted in the fatality of an employee of a contractor company involved in site works.

SENET, a wholly owned subsidiary of DRA Global, has oversight of a Cu-Zn Concentrator under construction for Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Co. (AMAK) at the Moyeath site.

DRA Global CEO James Smith said, “Our heartfelt condolences and sympathies go to the deceased’s family, friends and colleagues at this profoundly difficult time. Any loss of life is devastating.”

“We are taking all steps to understand the circumstances around this tragic event.”

All parties are co-operating closely with local authorities in their ongoing investigations. DRA is also conducting its own investigation.

DRA remains committed to providing support and assistance to those affected by this tragic event. The safety and wellbeing of everyone remains a priority.
